The Zeiss OPMI Visu 160 is a state-of-the-art surgical microscope that provides excellent imaging and control during a spectrum of ophthalmology procedures. The microscope features depth of field management, BrightFlex illumination and ergonomic handles for precise adjustments.
The VISU series comes on the Zeiss S7 floor stand stand includes the VISU 150, VISU 160, and VISU 140.The S7 is a compact, manually balanced and locked floor stand, making it more compact when not in use. The VISU 160 had a slit illumination which offers rich contrast making it easier to see during surgeries. The Microscope comes with two sets of eyepieces for both the surgeon and an assistant. These ophthalmology microscopes are virtually indistinguishable from one another in their optical performance and physical appearance. Any of these models would be a good choice for cataract surgery while the Zeiss VISU 150 and VISU 160 are strong performers for needed depth and clarity while viewing the posterior segment.
